The Moon.

Each month I like to take a shot of something out of this world so to speak. I like astrophotography but have always found it to be quite challenging in technique and in equipment. That's not to say that I'm blaming my astro photo's quality on my gear, I know that a lot of it has to do with the user.

This moon shot was taken with the 7d at the store, it's nice to have access to a 70-200L 2.8 and a 2.0x teleconverter. The whole set up is quite heavy but it worked wonders for this particular situation.
