Snakes’ Heads

I dreamed of growing a meadow full of these ... but I will be content with the 60 or so that congregate under the cherry tree.

Maybe they will multiply and fill the slope down to the road - or, more likely, the next owners will dig it all up and grow Christmas trees.

Meanwhile, I’m enjoying their brief appearance.
