Almost Hot

Like yesterday, the thermometer went over 20 deg today and with less wind, it felt almost hot in sheltered places. I was able to strip off the shirt for the first time this year and write in the sunshine. 

That fed me with energy until Forrest decided that he wanted to get out on the bike for a ride to Burnsall. It was impossible to resist the temptation to join him, which meant that the energy gained earlier was lost again to an evening of blobbing in front of the TV. We watched a brilliant film from Argentina titled Wild Tales: six shorts on the theme of revenge. They were all brilliant. Wild and surreal, hilariously funny and absolutely devastating. Worth seeking out. We saw it on Film4.
