Bunster Hill Cloud Inversion

We had to stop on our way to Ilam today, just for me to take this cloud inversion below Bunster Hill.

We were treated to a warm morning with very few people (added bonus) for most of our walk. We started at Ilam Country Park and walked towards Dovedale. We walked part way through Dovedale but then turned off via Hall Dale towards Stanshope. To return to Dovedale we came back past Castern Hall and back towards the country park.

We saw Brimstone butterflies for the first time this year which was a welcome sign of Spring.

There were plenty of lambsies about too (see extra).
