Thursday's Flower

The unusually warm weather over the previous two days persuaded a variety of buds to start elongating, & those of the blackthorn in the wild section at the far end of the garden to open completely. It's back to cold & windy today, but the blossom won't wait in pristine condition until the weather calms down. I selected one of the more sheltered parts, but, as usual, I still had to trigger the remote between gusts & hope that the flower I'd focussed on hadn't moved too much!
