Abstraction

I find myself drawn to 'landscapes' that are colourful but also abstracted, the ones that give an impression of the scene but could be interpreted in different ways. I also find that being able to chose a palette rather than sticking to what the world actually looks like enables me to get over feelings better. It turns out that actually paining this abstract idea is SO much harder than it looks, so I have a long way to go, but I'm relishing the learning experience.
