Prayerfields And A Vote

Vicky Porterfield blessed our church again tonight with another teaching session on prayer.  After Micah led us to raise our hearts and voices in a time of praise, the teaching was centered around "prayerfields"which is a particular geographical or influence area that you feel that God is leading you to pray for specifically and regularly.  It could be a particular country, city or group of people or even a single person.  You are not limited to just one.  She had a couple of friends share their experiences with their own particular prayerfields and encouraged us to seek our own.  Then our church members met for a called business meeting, so that we could vote on the recommendation of Frank Hamilton as our church treasurer.  He was voted in, after which Buster Shelton prayed for him  and his work in our church.  After that, I still had choir practice and I stayed for the run-throughs on the songs for the Good Friday service, since I always like to see what I'm planning to take pictures of ahead of time, if at all possible.  Now you know why this blip is so late!
