Angel of Halifax - Dog Lane

This sculpture, weighing 1.6 tonnes, overlooks the Black Brook Valley . It stands in a field just off Dog Lane - a good 15 minutes walk from home. I believe it was produced by Hargreaves Foundry in Halifax - see here for details. The foundry has links with Antony Gormley.

On another note, I was out of the door on a 6km run up to the moor just before 7:00 am. Managed a walk at lunchtime and spent the rest of the day working from home.
