No Mask No Entry
A glorious sunny day. Topped up with petrol, then over to Carl's new place for our first time spent al fresco since he moved in (extra).
Lovely lunch, then settled down to watch Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back. Great stuff to pass the time before we said our farewells and I headed back across the city.
While there we read reports of the latest about the latest lockdown: from 12th April, the 5km limit on for-exercise travel will be relaxed to travel within one's county or within 20km if crossing county boundaries, and outdoor meeting of two households will be okay (though not in private gardens – a distinction which I've never understood). Other small changes were also announced, but it all amounts to a slow-and-easy approach to relaxation of restrictions while infection numbers remain stubbornly high.
On a personal level, I'll be able to meet one other fully vaccinated person outdoors – maskless! – from two weeks after my second jab (which brings me to the beginning of May).
