At the opticians

It’s been quite an eventful week so far. Today we went to a local opticians. We missed out completely on eye tests last year and thought we should have them before our local shopping centre becomes much busier from 12 April.

Everything was organized and felt quite safe. But if I’m anyone to go by, shielders like me are likely to feel very anxious engaging with the real world, at least to begin with. The precautionary approach will continue for the foreseeable future, as far as I’m concerned.
