Common Toad

We were at the Crichton grounds for 7.40am for A’s jog ( week 6 run 2 - couch to 5km) I went for a walk in the rock gardens.
The greenhouse in our allotment is nearly complete, thanks to George . We just needed to buy a few panes for the door and some panes cut to the right size for the front and back.
Pat popped round to deliver a card, a beautiful yellow begonia , some peppermint oil and a chocolate Easter bunny. So kind and thoughtful of her.
This afternoon A and I went on a lovely walk at Caerlaverock nature Reserve. The weather was sunny and quite warm. We didn’t need our coats ! That’s where we came upon this toad. We had got excited thinking it might be a natterjack toad , but after checking found it was a common toad . I think it’s face is full of character !
I taught yoga from 6-7.15pm . My WiFi cut out during the yoga nidra , which was frustrating. But I managed to get it back so I could complete the practice and class. Everyone was very kind sending me good wishes for my operation.
