Busy...

... day with two roofers working on our old wooden garage (originally used for grandpa’s motorcycle). A December storm had damaged it and now finally the insurance gave the go-ahead, the weather was perfect and so we got a new little roof today :) Dad would have loved being with the handymen, inviting them for a second  breakfast and coffee in the afternoon... enjoying shoptalk... So I tried to handle it like he would have done ...only there was a huge lack of building knowledge on my side :)))) But as we always use companies from the village there was a lot in common to talk about ;) Dad had the best view though.... down from heaven he could watch them right on the roof ;)
As it was a glorious day... 25 degrees... I went out into the woods for a walk in the late afternoon, enjoying peace and myself :) Now, Elli and I are ready for English movie night and we are looking forward to our friend who is already on her walk to us :)))) Please, stay safe and healthy everyone :)
