Golf

The plus side of retirement is that I can play golf every day if I wanted to!  Today was spent with my good friends FatAndy and Chrissy at Chiddingfold and it was great to be able to catch up, not having seen them for more than three months.  This is one of my favourite holes.  There's a huge ravine which probably looks more daunting than it actually is, but you need to be hitting the ball a good 180 yards to avoid the potential trouble.  Chris just passed the trouble, but landed to the right of the buggy in this shot leaving himself with a huge second shot (which became his second, third and fourth shots), whilst Andy lost his ball in the trees on the left.  I finished in the perfect position at the far side of the fairway, leaving myself a 100 yard chip on to the green and two putts for a very satisfying (and very rare!) par.
