Unfurling

My hyacinths are gradually unfurling - this one is is lovely combination of blue and purple.

We enjoyed a lovely meal last night followed by a family video chat with A & R - it was lovely to see the both together (albeit miles apart). Hopefully we will all be able to meet up together at some point this year. 

I'm looking forward to  on-line book launch tonight - that of  "The Other Side of Stone" by local-ish author Linda Cracknell (who ran  the writing workshop series I took part in January).  It tells the story of a Perthshire mill through different inhabitants and draws upon newspaper accounts from the area.
