A day of firsts

It was a day of many firsts; Mara's first Easter. Mara's first Easter candy, Mara's first chocolate, Mara's first chocolate Easter candy as can be seen in this picture. She was quite delighted with the experience. She sang in church at the appropriate times and spoke along at the appropriate times. She did quite resent not being allowed to join in the formal procession.

Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, a lovely Easter, time with the baby and family and getting my taxes done.
