Corner shop

I seem to remember that when I first visited Ljubljana in 2002, this was still a Tito-era department store, selling lots of dowdy goods. Now look at it.

Interesting day. More than three hours inching through the Austrian and then Slovenian countryside from Graz to Ljubljana, then a lecture at the University, followed by dinner with a couple of really interesting women that I know here. One is involved in the law; the other, loosely speaking, in politics. Interesting contrasting views and expertise. We learnt a lot.
