The Fire Starter
Lockdown 3 - Day 86
What a fabulous day it's been, almost like summer! I went for my usual walk at lunch time and felt far too overdressed, everyone was in shorts and tee-shirts!
Tonight I met up with Louise, Amanda and Marianna after work at the beach as low tide coincided with sunset. We had a picnic on the beach and then enjoyed taking photos of the low tide reflections. It was very busy but as the tide was so low, there was plenty of room for everyone to remain distanced.
As we were about to leave we noticed a group of people with fire sticks, so we stopped to watch them - they were amazing! The only down side was that they attracted far too much attention, and in no time at all there was quite a crowd gathering, so at this point we left. It's been a lovely evening though and was so nice to meet up as a group of friends - I'm going to miss them!
You may remember earlier this month I spotted a Merman in the sea - well I was set a challenge by Charlotte and Kristina to find him, show in the photo and have a selfie with him. I never thought I'd actually see him again, but tonight I did - well I thought it was him, so I went over and told him about the photo, he asked to see it and said yes that it was him. So I told him about the challenge I'd been set and he happily agreed to have a photo with me, which I've added to my extras. He's a really lovely guy, as is his girlfriend who even offered to take some photos. Got to love Brighton it's such an open and friendly place!
