Mrs Blackbird

This lady kept me company while I worked in the garden this afternoon.
Yesterday we came out of lockdown and today the sun came out. Happy days!
I met my friends for coffee yesterday morning and we had a good old catch-up. For years we have paid into a kitty for a holiday/little treats. I dont think we did anything last year so we started to plan what we might do later in the year. I wanted us to go for a balloon ride but they were all horrified and refused to even entertain the idea - cowards! We settled on an afternoon tea on a boat on the Thames. This might not happen till about Sept but it was nice to do some planning.
