Nuthatch

After having no exercise yesterday I was determined to have a good walk today. Weather conditions were ideal .... that means there was no rain and the temp was well into double figures.

The Highland Cattle are keeping well away from the fences these days so I have no idea how many calves there might be. 

As the leaves start growing the chances of 'wee' bird spotting are greatly reduced but today there were still a few flying about down near the river where someone is still putting out some tasty seeds and suet pellets.

Some garden tidying and weeding this afternoon ..... getting ready for the first grass cut of the season when the 'Friendly Gardeners' come on Friday afternoon.
