Udderly gorgeous!
It's been a beautiful sunny and warm day today. I did some gardening this morning then this afternoon F and I went for a walk along the ridge above Rhydycroesau woodlands.
There was lots of birdsong but difficult to spot them despite the trees being devoid of leaves. We did see a pair of chaffinches nest building and a pair of siskins. It's a lovely walk and one of our favourites but we hadn't been there for a long time as it's so muddy when it's wet.
There were a few cows with calves in this field. The one on the right had two and the one on the left had a very tiny one that Mum was cleaning up. I love it's little tail! By the time we passed on our way back it was feeding.
There have been a number of Small Tortoishell butterflies around today - the first that I've seen. It's always great to see the first ones.
It was lovely to have a walk without hats and coats, it's been a long time since that happened!
