A Mars a day... snap.
The beauty of living in the countryside are the birds, the flowers and the wild animals, the blue sky, the sun twinkling through the trees. Aaaahhh, bliss.
That is until the "wildlife" come in your house and start nibbling on things.
Until now we appear to have had a "wildlife" free winter.
The metal pan scrubbers pushed down all holes and gaps have seemed impossible for our little furry friends to nibble through.
At the weekend we found a breach in our security and signs of a mouse under the sink.
So out came the traps again, baited by our favourite Mars bar.
The little darlings seem to love chocolate and the stickiness of the toffee makes it stick to the prong.
Sitting in the study tonight, I heard the "ping" of the trap.
and low and behold... a Mars a day indeed!
I think I'll leave it in situ for the children to discover in the morning!
