On the way home

I was in Appleby at the dentist for a check up. We have the most wonderful hygienist and I was amused (as is she) by her see-through protective helmet, complete with fan and battery pack. She loves it and doesn't mind how silly she looks. 

On the way home I stopped to take a photo of this lane. Every year it is lined with lots of daffodils and looks great. I wonder who planted them originally. Sadly cloud was still covering the hills or it would have been a much better backdrop. The dip in the hills you can just see beneath the cloud is High Cup Nick, which is what walkers head for. There were a few of them passing the house today, there will be lots more over the next few days.
