Goodbye Hong Kong

Well here we are, today is the day!!!
The end of a chapter, a long chapter.
We are grateful for soooo much, it’s been an incredible 15 years.

Got up nice and early and got everything we needed to do, done. Cecilia gave Ben and me a ride in her golf cart while Martin and Jon took the bus down with the rest of the luggage.

We had quite the send off at the Plaza airport bus. So many of our friends came to wave us off. There were many tears and we feel overwhelmed by the deep love for us and vice versa. Such special people.

Got to the airport way early and glad we did as check in took FOREVER!!! We had to repack some things so as to avoid excess baggage, but that was all super easy. I’m pinching myself, can’t believe this is actually happening and I get to go with the family.  This could have all been so different!

On to our very empty plane, see extra, we could have had rows to ourselves but chose to sit in our seats for this flight. Next flight will be a night flight, so might spread out then.

We have arrived in Singapore safely and are settled into our rooms, for the next 24 hours, at the airport. All is well, and the first leg of our journey is done, thank You Lord.
