I emailed my neurosurgeon late in the day. He answered after 10pm (does that man have a life outside the hospital?) with a recommendation that we do the check-up MRI sooner than planned. The prescription for the exam arrived this morning (Tuesday). Hopefully this is the next stage of me getting better.
