Lonely Church

We left Nelson this morning and travelled to the seaside tourist town of Kaikoura.
It rained all the way there.

This small church, which holds monthly services (located somewhere between Nelson and Blenheim), looked good in the rain, with the low cloud on the hills behind it. There were three Alpacas in the paddock by the church. 

When we got to Kaikoura, we had a late lunch/early dinner at Bernie's Diner, a 1950's themed restaurant, (with a classic car museum downstairs), where I had a delicious burger and fries.
Then we went and booked a dolphin watch tour, which we will do tomorrow morning.
We also took some photos of seals that live on the rocks, between the road, and the ocean.

We're heading home tomorrow, and I can't wait to see the cats. I've missed them so much.
