don't take a-fence!

my usual route to school has roadworks on it, so it was the country route today. stopped at a hump-back bridge and, waiting for the lights to change, i grabbed this quick shot through the passenger window.
my daughter's school has the inspectors in, so my well-earned whisky of last night was enjoyed helping her to prepare for today's onslaught. she achieved a 'good' from them!
I'm so proud of her - she has a class of 32 pupils, Year 5/6 children, including 3 with a.d.h.d, and it's killing her enthusiasm for teaching.
why put a newly qualified teacher in charge of the most awkward year? - it's SO short sighted!!
