Roof Rippin’

Roof work has begun. We had exceeded the life expectancy of our existing roof and it was time for new shingles. Our contractor showed up this morning and made quick work of the removal of old shingles. Neighbors took note of his efficiency, messaging me throughout the day as to his progress.

It was a tough time to get anything done as the winds were gusting up to 50 mph. Tomorrow, the front should be shingled and he’ll start work on the back of the house.

It’s not a fun thing to spend money on, but certainly necessary.
