A day out on the ring road

I just thought I would stop by and say hello and wish you all a happy Easter.

I have been poorly with Covid, thankfully now recovered, so managed to see my parents in their garden for 10 minutes. I haven't been out of the house since the beginning of February so it was nice to see something other than my 4 walls.

I had a day off work today so really pushed the boat out and drove round the M60. My car hasn't moved in weeks so thought I had better give it a run!

In other news, I start a new job on Thursday. I am now moving out of the admin department and into Corporate Finance. I will be working for just one Partner instead of the 3 I supported when I first started. My boss has never treated me like 'admin' and I have always felt like a member of his team so it was nice to know he's been working behind the scenes to move me into his department. Stepping up, working hard and showing what you are capable of can certainly lead to new opportunities.
