Bending the rules a bit here with no suitable model to hand for a portrait. The foam head I use for experimenting with lighting. I also used the technique for creating a black background from the white wall although a bit of post processing did come in handy.

I've just judged a competition where all images had to be taken with a mobile phone. There were some excellent images but quite a few lacked quality and detail which comes from the overall poorer resolution of phone cameras, zooming in and cropping too tightly.

Lunch today with a friend in her garden and, fortunately, the weather was good - quite warm at times. Another outing tomorrow also with a good weather forecast. Great to have a little more freedom.
