Park Kurdish Style

I took a friend and her children to the park because she is stuck inside most of the time. I had one of those cultural moments of realising I still think very Britishly. When I got to her house she was totally dressed up in traditional clothes, made up and her girls all looked fancy too. Katie and I meanwhile were not looking our best! For me, going to the park just requires a packet of biscuits (if you're lucky,) a picnic rug and not much else. Kurds don't do anything by halves, you'd have thought I'd have learnt that by now!
