Click and Collect

Mrs L and I had arranged to meet at Stowe today but the forecast was so awful we decided to postpone to next week.
Needless to say when I went down for my Click and Collect order it was absolutely gorgeous and we could have had a lovely walk round Stowe.
We did get excited planning our get-together for cheesy fish at the garden centre when they open next month. 
Miss L's teacher emailed us this afternoon to say Miss L was having trouble seeing the board and it may be worth getting her eyes tested. Twenty hours a day looking at screens and reading in the dark for the other few hours probably hasn't done her much good. Sigh.
I made an appointment for her next Wednesday at the opticians in town.
Years ago, when Miss E started asking if she could get her ears pierced, I said she could get them done on her thirteenth birthday. She's waited so patiently and I feel so sad that she won't be able to get it done on her birthday in a couple of weeks. Bloody Coronavirus.
I scoured Etsy today and ordered a lovely pair of hammered silver studs to wrap up for her birthday along with a promise that we'll go and get it done as soon as we can.
