The First Robin of Spring

Dear Diary,

The first sighting of a Robin Red Breast is another sure sign of spring for me.  These plump harbingers of warm weather always build a nest somewhere on my property and it is my springtime ritual to try and find it.  Makes me think of that old song, "When the red, red robin comes bob, bob bobbing along, along...There'll be no more sobbing when he starts singing his own sweet song..."   Now, that will be in my head all day!
