A day of complete inactivity! Miss H fed the hens so didn’t have to do that either. We have purchased 7 legbar point of lay pullets and sold three Plymouth rocks to help fund these new ones. Lots more blue eggs I hope!! Webster will be very impressed I hope!

Today was the YFC Member of the year competition for the South West. We had trained both the senior member and the junior member for this competition and were so delighted that both won and are now off to the Nation finals! A good day for Somerset Young Farmers!

Our friend Mr W is back in hospital having been feeling unwell again. After his heart attack at Christmas it is always a bit worrying. Hopefully now he is in there they may take his treatment a bit further and a bit quicker.
