My view at Lunch

Today was a beautiful day in Cambridge and so I made the most of it at lunchtime by taking my book out to Parkers Piece Common near work and sat down in the sun to do a spot of reading. Lovely stuff.

Such a gorgeous day and I had a splendid run this evening too, a 10k involving running to Jesus Green, a few laps and then back home. I averaged just under 7 minute miles which I was very pleased with, I haven't completed 10k (or more) at that speed since almost a year to the day* so am thoroughly deserving of the beer I am drinking whilst watching Man U vs Real Madrid!

*I keep a run log on an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of my runs so the statement wasn't a case of an amazing memory!
