Three Masts in the Sunset

Our first evening run up to the trigpoint on Winter Hill on footpaths - during the winter months we use the service road. Strange light tonight, there seemed to be a bank of low cloud which the sun slipped into, otherwise we would have had light on the hills for much longer. Descended on tarmac for safety as we don't use torches. Still some hard packed ice and snow on the tops, but the rain forecast for the rest of the week should wash that away. Another couple of weeks and we'll be off road until October woohoo : )
