Front And Centre

One leg down off the bank, foot precariously resting on a stone, I tried to get close to this rock to fill the frame with a wide angle. Nice idea, but I couldn't get close enough. Even so, I like the contrast of the lighter rock against the darker water and the repetition of colour in the reeds.

I used the Fuji Velvia film simulation in LR to help bring out the colour of the rock. In some situations it can be useful, but mostly I find the saturation too rich.
