Sweet Debra

Meet Debra, my friend at PARC (Pinellas Association for Retarded children). PARC's mission is to provide opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities to exercise their independence and experience life to the very fullest.

Years ago an Art Studio for the adults was established at the campus. It is outstanding what the residents create in this loving environment with pottery, painting, jewelry, cards, etc. My heroes are the people who are dedicated at PARC working with the clients. They are so patience, kind, loving and giving to all of the residents.

I bought this painting that Debra painted to hang in my studio. She sweetly gave me permission to take her photo. I could not resist buying some more pottery for birthday gifts for friends. I can't think of a better gift to give!
