Gourmandising
Covid cancelled all our significant celebrations last year, and finally, finally we managed to sneak one in. Yesterday was our 30th Anniversary of moving in together, and we are still in the same house.
The place was the latest iteration of the Crafers Hotel, a 1838 hostelry a few Ks up the hill from us. That's a venerable age, seeing that the colony was only declared in 1836. OGH didn't get built until 1861.
I like the display of images on the wall, and think it's a good idea to have something similar in the Coach House at OGH.
You are right, I rarely stop thinking about OGH.
Yes, it was a lovely, delicious meal, but it took me a few hours to get over it.
