The dropped stitch

By Bodkin

sorry!

Blip seems a bit awash with daffodil blips... so sorry for another one.

Thought about other things to blip, then left it too late and snapped the daffodils as the light was fading after a brief evening wander.

A day of family history.
Being part of a family group who are putting together an account of my great grandfather's life, has been really enjoyable. I like the process of gathering information, but am not good at stopping and drawing all the material together. One of our group is very good at doing this, so as we send her the material she is writing the life story - chapter by chapter.

This team work has certainly meant we have made much better progress than we have up to now each working on our own. I don't have the luxury of retirement, yet, so always say I'll do my bit at the weekends - and then it's suddenly Sunday and I haven't read and commented as I promised I would.
So today I completed my tasks and feel rather pleased.

It's actually a very good way to get things done - the added guilt of 'letting people down' and 'holding everyone up' concentrates the mind amazingly.
