If you go down to the woods today.....

As usual when the clocks change I was still awake at the usual time. So decided to linger for a bit and read. I am enjoying the latest Val Mcdermid Karen Piri novel.

Once up we sorted a few jobs before lunch. The weather was mild and dry if a little blustery. We decided to risk our off the beaten track walk in Dalby. We were the only ones in the overspill car park and met only two people with a Labradoodle puppy Nellie. Although we saw a few bikers at a distance on the trails.

As we climbed up a steep sloping path I spotted a shape through the trees. I managed to get quite close until it decided to exit stage left. Blip sorted. It was surprisingly mild and I ended up removing my coat and carrying it.
