By the Canal
I took another walk along the towpath to the Premier Inn from Timothy Road Bridge this afternoon. Just as I was joining the canal I saw this goldfinch fly in and land on a tree branch. It looked very nice in the little bit of sun we had today. It was a nice walk and I stopped a couple of times to feed the ducks and watch a group (colony?) of gulls swooping and diving above the canal surface.
This morning we had a good family zoom session, starting at twelve instead of the usual eleven to allow for the clock change to British Summer Time. I won't rant here about the totally unnecessary need to mess about with the clocks twice a year, I've vent my spiel in previous blips!
