Mother-in-law’s cake tins

My mother-in-law made the best Victoria Sandwich that I have ever tasted. She said it was all to do with the tins that you used. I swear it is how much love you put in when you are making it. Today’s cake isn’t quite up to standard as I rushed it, whilst making lunch.
She gave me her tins in 1974 and although they are scratched, they still work and mostly produce a first class cake.
