Hepatica triloba

Used to be Anemone triloba, but since at Wisley in 1967 I have known it as Hepatica triloba. However it now appears to be renamed as Hepatica nobilis, don't know why? Named as Hepatica as the leaves are supposed to resemble the shape of a kidney!
Culpepper the herbalist wrote "it fortifies the liver exceedingly and makes it impregnable."
