Vaccination
This morning I had my first Covid vaccination. I am in a high risk group because of coronary artery disease so get to go before Hubby does. The program is very well organised with easy online booking for the first injection. The second injection appointment was automatically booked for 4 weeks later, suggesting that it would be the Moderna vaccine (it was).
The district vaccination centre is set up in the new Civil Protection hangar and delivers 500 doses per day over 4 days for this phase. The first day was last Wednesday and was chaos as the computer crashed and the queue grew longer and the car park filled to over flowing. It went like clockwork today. The extra shows one of the four ‘streets’ where the vaccinations are administered taken from the waiting area at the exit. I forgot to photograph the building afterwards.
So far I have had no reaction to the shot apart from a slightly sore arm.
