Early Runner....

The sky was cloudy early this morning. It was humid too. I was expecting/hoping for rain. But we have had none today. Only 3.5mm recorded in our rain gauge so far this month. Down along the Taylor River tracks an early runner was putting on the pace. There were very few folks and dogs about this morning. I managed some urgent gardening. Then around lunchtime Duncan and I visited the Recycling Centre Shop. There were crowds there and an enormous amount of bargain goods. It is a real treasure trove. Duncan and cat returned to the Sounds after lunch. He reported rain there. I’ve got my fingers crossed for rain here overnight.
