crane blip
i emerged from the victoria centre once again in daylight. indeed one must assume this will be the case from hereon until the autumn evenings draw in later in the year.
although still light, the fog which had shrouded the city first thing this morning was once again descending upon the city...
blaring sirens sounded and i watched as two fire tenders raced in front of me and headed up Shakespeare Street... as i watched the vehicles disappear in the distance my eye was drawn to the cranes - they looked as though they watched over the city as buses and vehicles carried people out of the city home from their daily labour, and also brought into the city the early evening revelers...
the cranes are in situ as a new building for nottingham trent university is under construction...
may take a walk along there in future weeks to check on progress... could be future blips too
