Hellebores

There was a frosty start to the morning but the sun soon burst through and I escaped from work at lunchtime for a while for a browse round. I came across these Hellebores; so difficult to get good shots of as they seem to cast their faces to the ground. I actually got down to their level but couldn't lie prostrate on the ground with bottoms up so just aimed the camera underneath the flowers so that the lovely blue sky would shine through. Just sorry I cut a bit of petal off but worse, it took me a while to get upright again!

Day off tomorrow but I don't think the weather will be as nice as today, typical.
