Sunrise at Waikuku Beach

Well there's a weird thing!

I put this photo up yesterday, but where it went I don't know, as I realised it hadn't appeared in my journal.

Had a lovely morning with Blipper flying, as we watched and photographed the sunrise, and then walked down the beach and back along the estuary. We'd never seen the river entrance so calm, with cloud reflections. Not many birds, but the spoonbills were very busy.
And at the end of the walk, a nice morning tea and the Brick Mill Cafe. thanks to P for coming at very short notice, after being there the day before as well!
