International Terrier Day

Well it is, apparently, so here is International Thistle. Norwestie’s sister. Bred by us in the Highlands. Living with our good friends John and Carolyn in Alabama. Fixated in this shot on a butterfly.

When J&C had a 2nd home in Kent they used to visit for three months, twice a year. Thistle had her own Airmiles account.

Nearly fifteen now, so she needs helping up into her personal armchair. Her biggest regret is she can no longer manage the stairs down to the basement, where she wants to terrorise the raccoons who moved in after she flushed them out of the garden.
