In to town today to remove some items from a friends flat as he’s selling up. Very sad to see him go - he’s not even in Edinburgh at the moment, having seconded himself to Chamonix for a while.
Whilst in town we had a cycle round to do some tourist attractions - castle esplanade, Royal Mile, Holyrood and a couple of graveyards. In Greyfriars Kirkyard Mr KT put on his tour guide hat and showed me gravestones that are supposed to have inspired some of the character names in the Harry Potter books. We found Tom Riddell and Prof McGonagall.
